What Services Does Madison Tutoring Offer?
How Is Madison Tutoring Different from Other Tutoring Services?
Our tutors are the highest trained around. Head English and math tutors, Luke and Rebecca, hold Master’s degrees in teaching and Connecticut English and math teaching certifications, and have hands-on experience leading a classroom. They know the material, keep it fun, and quickly create independently successful students. Additionally, Madison Tutoring donates 5% of all profits to educational and empowering causes, so you can feel good about giving back to those in need.
Do You Offer a Trial Period?
We offer a two week, risk-free trial for all new clients. If you are unsatisfied for any reason during the trial period and wish to discontinue tutoring, we will gladly refund your full payment.
Where Does the Tutoring Take Place?
We meet with our students at our tutoring center, located at 21 Boston Post Road in Madison. Parents often remark that our center provides a quiet, educational setting away from distractions, and we agree! We also offer Skype tutoring services for your convenience.
What Kinds of Training Do Your Tutors Receive?
Our head English, math and science tutors hold Master’s degrees in Teaching and Connecticut state teaching certifications, along with an expert knowledge of their content areas and experience as full-time teachers. Our tutors keep current in the field of education by regularly attending seminars on the latest state standards and best tutoring practices.
Do You Work with My Child’s School Teachers?
Yes. With your permission, our tutors will contact your child’s teachers to form a well-rounded partnership that extends far beyond the tutoring center. We believe that a child learns best when support comes from family, teacher and tutor in a united front. We check in regularly to ensure that your child is reaching his or her full potential in the classroom and at home.
How Will I Know My Child Is Improving?
Our tutors will share periodic updates with you personally and through online notes, so you’ll always know where your child has improved, and what he or she will study next.
Will My Child Receive Individual Attention?
Yes. Our tutors work one-on-one with your student. You can rest assured that your child will receive all the attention needed for his or her independent success.
