We believe in the power of giving. That’s why Madison Tutoring donates 5% of all profits to educational and empowering causes. See where your 5% is going today:
Namaste Community Foundation
Rebecca volunteered at the Namaste Children’s House orphanage from September to December in 2009 and has been advocating for and donating to the foundation ever since. Namaste Community Foundation is a non-profit social organization dedicated to empowering the lives of underprivileged women and children of Nepal since 2003. The foundation strives to create a loving and holistic environment in order to create healthy, self-reliant citizens.
Larry Pontbriant Athletic Safety Fund
Luke ran with Larry Pontbriant while attending the Norwich Free Academy high school in Norwich, CT before Larry tragically passed away on a training run. The Larry Pontbriant Athletic Safety Fund strives to promote awareness that Sudden Cardiac Arrest can occur without warning—even to well-conditioned athletes. It stresses the need for on-site automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and contributions are used to purchase AEDs for schools and athletic fields and to encourage training in CPR and the use of AEDs. This fund hopes to prevent similar tragedies from occurring.
New Haven Public Schools
Madison Tutoring is saving up to fund scholarships for two college-bound New Haven students (one female, one male). Stay tuned for updates on the application and award process.
